Workshop_37/Space Invaders
led by Daniel Halter
June 16-17, 2014
The workshop proposed by the South African artist is linked to his experience in Turin, where he held a residency for the European project Nine Urban Biotopes Negotiate the future of the city-life. This platform, which provides for artistic dialogue between different European and South African cities, has been an opportunity to deepen the themes of urban sustainability and migration. Halter, who defines himself as a fabricator, proposed a collective action of urban gardening, inviting the participants to work together to construct an environmental installation realized through the plant medium.
