PAV dedicates three days to a group of emerging artists who, with their practice, investigate in different ways the natural and ecological dimension that is typical of the contemporary art center.
Teatrum Botanicum, is not a conventional exhibition, but a real festival, consisting of multiple interventions: performance practices, projections, talk and performance-lectures, DJ sets and live sets. After the editions of Premio PAV 2011 and 2012, the museum hosts the emerging talents coming from all over Italy, with an eye to the Turin reality; the scheme is that of an excess of forms, modalities and experiments, combined and placed in dialogue outside of a precise one curatorial frame. The real concept of Teatrum Botanicum is molding later, acting as an aggregator between the various interventions received and creating different paths to cross the space of the PAV and the duration of the festival.
Objectocene project: Mirko Canesi, Fiorella Fontana, Aurora Paolillo, Ambra Pittoni, Stefano Serusi. Curated by Clara Madaro.
